After the severe floods that affected the area in January 2026, Voltalia, through the Karavasta Solar project, supported local residents in Hasturkas village, Fier.
Working closely with the Administrative Unit of Libofsha and local community leaders, Voltalia helped respond to the needs of farmers affected by the floods. Following recommendations from local authorities, Voltalia provided 5 tons of livestock feed concentrate to support families whose livelihoods depend on livestock.
The distribution was completed on 26 February 2026 and reached 35 families identified through a local verification process.
The support was welcomed by residents of Hasturkas, who valued the assistance during a challenging period. This initiative reflects Voltalia’s continued commitment to working closely with communities near the Karavasta Solar project.
